Overview In this role you drive growth for DNV's LNG advisory and assurance services in North America, leveraging your deep LNG knowledge and strong industry network. You will shape new offerings, lead strategic accounts, and act as a trusted partner to developers, operators, EPCs, and investors. Based in Houston with hybrid work, you'll expand DNV's market presence and ensure technical excellence across engagements. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical scrutiny with market development to advance our decarbonization-focused LNG services.

Responsibilities- Lead service expansion and market growth by shaping new advisory offerings aligned with customer needs
- Leverage an active LNG network to win relationships with owners, developers, EPCs, and investors
- Develop strategic account plans and drive major opportunity pursuits
- Represent DNV at conferences and industry groups to strengthen reputation as a technical authority
- Provide expert advisory on LNG export terminal construction, including constructability reviews, commissioning readiness, and project execution assurance
- Support operations and performance optimization across LNG processes (liquefaction, refrigeration, gas treatment, utilities, storage, marine export, BOG)
- Lead or contribute to technical due diligence, independent engineering, risk reviews, and operational readiness assessments
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary LNG studies integrating process safety, digital analytics, reliability, and gas value chain teams
- Mentor LNG competencies internally and drive continuous improvement across LNG engagements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of LNG experience including export terminal construction, commissioning, or operations
- Direct involvement with major LNG capital projects in the Gulf Coast
- Proven ability to cultivate and grow customer relationships using an established industry network
- Strong technical foundation in LNG processes and practical project execution (construction, commissioning, start up)
- Solid understanding of major commercial LNG licensors and their offerings for regional deployment
- Proven advisory capability with experience presenting to technical and executive audiences
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, project sites, and industry events
