Overview In this role you will lead innovative clinical, biological, and population-health research focused on adverse cancer-treatment effects and survivorship in childhood cancer. You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary department within a world-class cancer center to translate findings into strategies that improve quality of life for survivors. You will work with large, flagship cohorts and interdisciplinary teams to address biological, clinical, and social determinants of late effects. This position offers strong institutional support to sustain impactful, independent research that advances pediatric oncology care.

Responsibilities- Lead and develop an independent, high-impact research program focused on childhood cancer survivorship and late effects
- Collaborate across Cancer Center Programs and with clinic- and lab-based researchers to translate findings into clinical care
- Contribute to interpretation and expansion of the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study and the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort
- Drive and participate in funded interventional and observational studies and related R01-equivalent projects
- Support and contribute to the department's T32 Postdoctoral program and interdisciplinary training
- Publish findings and present at national/international venues to advance the field
- Mentor junior investigators and build a productive, diverse research team
Key requirements- PhD, MD and/or equivalent degree
