Overview

As Project Manager you will lead multidisciplinary teams across design, manufacture, installation and handover on high-profile precast façade projects. You'll manage multiple projects for a market-leading contractor delivering complex, architecturally significant work in Ireland and the UK. You'll drive safe, on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding top-quality standards and strong client relationships. This role offers scope to influence project outcomes from tender through financial close-out and handover.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning and coordinate internal project teams to meet programme milestones
  • Manage a portfolio of construction projects from award to completion
  • Understand each project's scope, programme, commercial objectives and technical requirements
  • Maintain involvement across all project stages from tender to handover
  • Coordinate design, surveying, commercial and construction functions for effective delivery
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders
  • Ensure clear communication with regular meetings, progress updates and formal reports
  • Monitor programme performance and implement mitigation for risks
  • Identify and resolve delivery obstacles and escalate as needed
  • Provide early warning of risks to senior management
  • Maintain accurate project documentation for traceability
  • Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to monitor budgets and commercial performance
  • Ensure smooth transition between design, manufacture, installation and handover
  • Promote safety, quality and continuous improvement across projects
Key requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as Project Manager in construction
  • Proven experience delivering construction projects for a specialist contractor
  • Experience in precast concrete, façades, cladding or related specialist subcontracting environment (highly desirable)
  • Strong experience coordinating design, commercial and construction teams through full lifecycle
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related discipline
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and project planning software (Microsoft Project or Asta)
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities
  • Decisive with ability to resolve issues and drive projects forward
