Overview

In this role you ensure GMP-facing training compliance for new hires and existing staff, administering and maintaining training records and modules. You work with OJT trainers and supervisors to develop and update training materials, coordinate schedules, and monitor training status in the LMS. You support SOP/work instruction updates, investigate training issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of safety and operational training programs. This position helps scale and sustain compliant, effective onboarding and ongoing training across Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as SME for Ops and GMP OJT programs
  • Ensure training records are complete and documented per GDPs
  • Lead development or updates of OJT training modules and plans
  • Coordinate training schedules for GMP roles and OJT trainers
  • Monitor training requirements and ensure on-time completion
  • Deliver OJT in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Update training materials as needed with OJT trainers
  • Assist with updating SOPs and work instructions
  • Troubleshoot training-related issues and identify remedial training
  • Collaborate with Operations to identify preventive/training actions
  • Coordinate and maintain new Employee Orientation and annual cGMP sessions
  • Support department tasks like learning week and newsletters
  • Stay updated on safety issues and provide training support as needed
  • Perform other duties to meet company objectives
  • Handle administrative duties: training forms, surveys, profiles, curricula, groups, records
  • Assist with LMS access and reporting to ensure compliance
  • Create basic training aids and identify operational improvement opportunities
  • May participate in investigations, problem solving, and cross-training efforts
Key requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in pharmaceutical, dietary supplement or food industry in a cGMP environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Able to facilitate training for large groups
  • Experience in Operations or QA/training roles preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, training, communications, business, or related field is preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of databases and LMS desired
