Spicewood Cottages - Clyde, NC All Shifts Available 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM 2nd Shift 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM 3rd Shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Full Time and Part Time Every other weekend required About Us Spicewood Cottages is a small assisted living and memory care community in Clyde. Small matters here - you will know every resident by name, and they will know yours. Our assignments are manageable, which means you have time to actually care for people instead of racing through a hall. We are hiring for all three shifts in three roles. Tell us which shift and which position you are applying for, and we will go from there. The Roles Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Hands-on daily care. No certification required - if you are dependable and good with people, we will train you. Morning and evening care - dressing, grooming, toileting Meals - serving and assisting residents who need help eating Showers on the posted schedule Resident laundry and linens Rounds and resident checks, on schedule, every shift ADL charting completed before the end of shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Everything a PCA does, plus the skills your certification covers. Transfers and positioning, using proper technique and equipment Vitals and observations - taken, recorded, reported More complex care needs and higher-acuity residents Changes in condition identified and reported promptly Required: active, unrestricted listing on the N.C. Nurse Aide I Registry. Medication Technician You run the medication pass for your side of the building and lead the aides on your shift. Medication administration - accurate, on time, within scope Every administration documented in the eMAR before moving on Provider orders received, carried out, and documented promptly Medication cart secure, organized, and accurately counted Directing PCAs on your side and verifying rounds and checks Complete report at the start and end of every shift Required: current listing on the N.C. Medication Aide Registry for Adult Care Homes, or completion of a state-approved medication administration course and eligibility to be listed. Six hours of medication-related continuing education annually.
