Support the Production of World-Class Bovine GeneticsSelect Sires, Inc. is seeking a Livestock Technician to join our production team in Westby, Wisconsin. This position plays a critical role in supporting cattle handling, semen collection, and production activities that help deliver industry-leading dairy and beef genetics to producers throughout the United States and around the world. Starting wage is $19.00+ per hour. Work ScheduleFull-time, hourly, non-exempt positionMonday through Friday schedule 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.Holiday, evening, and weekend work may be required on a rotating basis.Work schedules and responsibilities may be adjusted to support business and production needs. What You'll DoCollect semen using established safety protocols.Handle bulls in a manner that properly stimulates semen collection.Feed, clean, move, and monitor dairy and beef cattle.Support health testing, veterinary treatments, and hoof-trimming activities.Operate company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and farm equipment.Maintain facilities, equipment, and work areas.Follow all biosecurity, safety, and production quality standards.Work collaboratively to achieve production goals.
