This role is open at either our Roseville, MN or Westminster, SC location. This is an onsite role Monday-Friday. Position Summary: The Financial Analyst partners with business leaders to improve operating-expense visibility, capital allocation, and corporate risk management. The role delivers analysis, forecasting, reporting, and recommendations that support disciplined spending, sound investment decisions, and profitable growth. This position works closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Plant Management, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Legal, and Corporate Finance. For more information on Horton, Inc. please visit our web site at Analyst Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management reporting for operating expenses, capital investments, and insurance costs, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, and actionsSupport annual budgeting and recurring forecasts by preparing templates, consolidating inputs, validating assumptions, and challenging spending proposalsImprove reporting through standardized processes, stronger data quality, automation, and Power BI dashboardsSupport development, prioritization, and governance of the annual capital plan with Operations, Engineering, IT, Maintenance, and Senior leadershipDevelop and evaluate capital business cases, including ROI, NPV, payback, cash-flow impact, sensitivity analysis, and operational considerationsConduct post-investment reviews of major projects to compare realized results with original business-case assumptionsCoordinate the annual insurance renewal process with the CFO, Legal, HR, operational leaders, and insurance brokersSupport internal insurance questions, vendor certificate requests, claims coordination, and risk-related financial analysisPrepare monthly management reporting for operating expenses, capital investments, and insurance costs, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, and actionsSupport finance transformation, reporting enhancements, ERP improvements, and other special projects QualificationsFinancial Analyst Qualifications:RequiredBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, cost analysis, or operations finance.Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, operating-expense management, financial statements, and capital investment analysis.Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and data organization.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and build effective cross-functional relationships.Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment, curiosity, and integrity.Must be authorized to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided now or in the future for this position.PreferredExperience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or multi-site operations.Experience developing capital business cases or supporting fixed-asset and capital-planning processes.Familiarity with commercial insurance and claims concepts, or a demonstrated interest in developing this capability.Experience with Power BI, Oracle ERP, or comparable reporting and planning systems.Experience with reporting automation, process improvement, or data visualization.Progress toward, or interest in pursuing, a CPA, CMA, CFA, or advanced degree. Additional Information:The estimated hiring range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year plus bonus. Compensation will increase within the range based on experience and qualifications.
