Construction Project Manager - MultifamilyThe Norfolk Companies is looking for a Project Manager to be the quarterback for our multifamily cabinetry and countertop projects, from the moment a contract is signed through final closeout. If you're the kind of person who wants a seat at the table, not just a seat at a desk, we want to talk to you.What you'll own:Reviewing shop drawings, coordinating submittals with Design, and verifying field conditions against approved plansManaging the Schedule of Values and tracking project financial health, protecting the profit margin between cost and sell priceBuilding and maintaining Buildertrend schedules and documentation for every assigned projectServing as the primary point of contact for GCs, architects, and site superintendentsIdentifying risk early and escalating it before it becomes a real problemManaging change orders the right way: documented, priced, and approved before work begins
Requirements:
5+ years of project management experience in multifamily, residential construction, cabinetry, millwork, countertops, remodeling, or a closely related fieldThe ability to accurately field measure and translate that into adjusted shop drawingsStrong organizational and time-management skills - you can run several projects at once without dropping a ballComfort managing schedules, budgets, and vendor relationships with minimal supervisionSolid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Calendar)A valid driver's license and a clean driving record - you'll be on the road to job sites regularlyIt's a big plus if you have:Experience supplying building materials through a distribution channelPrior hands-on experience with cabinetry productsFamiliarity with Buildertrend, Procore, Bluebeam, or 20/20 design softwareBilingual English/SpanishWhat makes someone successful here:You advocate for yourself and for Norfolk.
