Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Perform EP studies, atrial fibrillation (AFib) management, complex arrhythmia mapping and ablations, intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), implantable device procedures, and cardioversions.
Work alongside interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and vascular surgeons in a multidisciplinary cardiovascular institute.
Practice at a single location with state-of-the-art EP-capable cath labs and advanced technology.
Participate in a shared EP call schedule (1:3) with no general cardiology call responsibilities.
Opportunity to work with residents through ACGME-accredited residency programs.
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology with Electrophysiology specialization.
Eligible for or able to obtain an Alabama medical license.
