️ Physicians cannot work more than two consecutive 24-hour shifts .

What You'll Do Manage labor and perform deliveries
Provide OBED and Labor & Delivery coverage
Evaluate and manage emergent obstetric patients
Perform vaginal deliveries and emergency C-sections
Manage VBAC and twin deliveries
Support Iowa's maternity transport team
Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and operative care
Collaborate with midwives and support complex deliveries
Work alongside residents and medical students
Complete documentation and order entry in Epic
No GYN responsibilities.
Requirements Board Certified in OB/GYN truly Board Eligible candidates may also be considered
Active Iowa license, Active IMLC with LOQ, or new license candidates for 2027 dates
Must provide the exact dates available and average number of shifts available per month
NPDB Self-Query pulled within the past 30 days
Must meet malpractice/background requirements
