Hospital medicine program expanding to cover private patientsOn-site coverage during shifts including weekends and nightsNo call requiredRound on 20-24 patients per day with a daily census of approximately 50 patientsApproximately 12 daily admissions with no consults100-bed facility with an open ICU - rounding in the ICU includedRural, community-based patient population with bread and butter internal medicine cases - no traumaProcedures and ventilator management performed in collaboration with Pulmonology and CardiologyAbility to perform procedures if signed off, though no specific procedures are strictly requiredFull support staff available including Nursing, Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Lab, and moreOutpatient follow-up handled by community providersNew graduates are welcome to applyFacility:
