MSS Personal Care Aid (PCA) - $18.5 - $18.5 Hourly Wage

West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing

New York, New York

Job description

Multi-Site Support (MSS) Program Overview

WSFSSH's Multi Site Support program provides flexible, on-demand staffing coverage across our 30+ residential and program sites, all of which require 24/7 support. Team members step in to fill scheduling gaps and ensure consistent, high-quality service for the individuals and communities we serve - often across multiple roles including Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Porters, Kitchen Aides, and Program Aides.

This pool is a great fit for candidates who want flexible scheduling, exposure to different sites and teams, and the opportunity to build experience across WSFSSH's supportive housing programs. Many per diem staff use this as a pathway into full-time roles within the organization.

  • Minimum 1 year experience aiding older adults or individuals with disabilities preferred (home care, assisted living, supportive housing, nursing home, hospital, etc.).
  • Experience working with dementia, mobility limitations, and/or chronic health conditions strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily on-site in resident apartments and common areas; may require walking/standing for extended periods.
