The Machine Operator I V is responsible for operating machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
- Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required .
- Lifting or moving heavy objects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required .
REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to perform all job duties of Machine Operator levels I , II and II I .
- Min imum o f 1 y ear o f ex perience in a manu facturi ng se tting pref erred .
- Valid c rane certification.
- 3G welding certification .
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
- Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 5 0 pounds in all directions.
- Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Constantly thinking and processing information.
- Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Manufacturing floor with machinery.
- Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.
- Use of personal protection equipment is required
