Vivalon is seeking a motivated and experienced Safety & Training Supervisor to join our transportation team in Ceres, California. This is an exciting opportunity for a transportation professional who is passionate about safety, employee development, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
As a Safety & Training Supervisor, you will partner closely with the Safety & Training Manager to support daily transportation operations and foster a safe, customer-focused work environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day supervision, support, and guidance to shuttle drivers.
- Conduct on-road observations, ride-alongs, evaluations, and coaching sessions to improve driver performance and safety.
- Assist with the development and delivery of driver training programs, workshops, and refresher courses.
- Investigate operational concerns, incidents, customer complaints, and safety-related matters, developing effective solutions when needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client contract requirements, ADA regulations, and applicable state and federal transportation regulations.
- Monitor on-time performance, route adherence, and service quality standards.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through coaching, mentoring, recognition, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for drivers and operational staff, helping resolve challenges while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer service
Requirements:
What We're Looking For
- Experience in transportation operations, safety, training, or supervision.
- Experience developing and delivering employee training programs.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills.
- Knowledge of ADA regulations and passenger transportation best practices.
- Working knowledge of applicable state and federal transportation safety regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to travel to our San Rafael headquarters approximately once per month.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience within the transit or passenger transportation industry.
- Experience working with public transit, paratransit, or contract transportation services.
- Knowledge of service area operations and transportation contract requirements.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a transportation environment.

Compensation & Benefits
$26.00 - $36.00 per hour (depending on experience)
