ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING
Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi - brewers of Asahi Super Dry - acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. Our Brewhouse team turns raw ingredients into the wort that becomes every batch we brew.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our brewhouse keeps the entire brewing process moving - turning raw ingredients into finished wort that feeds every batch downstream. We're looking for a Brewhouse Brewer to help keep that process precise, efficient, and in spec.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT
• Own the very first step of the brewing process - from raw material intake to finished wort

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Learn, understand, and operate all brewhouse piping and equipment
• Execute efficient brewing operations from raw material intake to finished wort
• Own yeast propagation from start to finish
• Perform routine quality checks, basic maintenance, and CIP on brewhouse equipment and piping
• Keep accurate brewing logs and sanitation records every shift
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing or manufacturing setting
• Flexibility to work various shifts and prioritize shifting tasks
Nice-to-haves:
• 2-3 years of experience in a brewing environment
• Degree in Brewing Science/Technology

PAY BY SHIFT
Pay starts at $24.00/hr - $26.00/hr based on experience, with growth up to $34.00/hr through our tiered Brewer Career Matrix - whether you build that experience here or bring it with you, already brewed. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base - never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift.
- 1st Shift - $24.00/hr (minimal base rate)
- 2nd Shift - $24.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential = $27.00/hr (minimal total rate)
- 3rd Shift - $24.00/hr base + $4.00/hr shift differential = $28.00/hr (minimal total rate)
- Weekend Day - $24.00/hr base + $5.75/hr shift differential = $29.75/hr (minimal total rate)
- Weekend Night - $24.00/hr base + $7.75/hr shift differential = $31.75/hr (minimal total rate)
Full-time, non-exempt
