Employees must use proper lifting techniques, follow all training and safety procedures, and exercise sound judgment when determining whether a load can be handled safely. When an item is too heavy, bulky, or unstable to lift alone, employees are expected to request assistance or use available mechanical aids to prevent injury. Work on a variety of surfaces including, but not limited to, gravel, concrete, mud, or dirt.Work agreed upon availability.Stand and walk on your feet for multiple hours at a time with breaks as required by law.Operate effectively in a high paced setting involving various people and teams.Provide excellent guest experiences.Unload and load trucks.Pull and push greenhouse carts.Key Expectations: Teamwork: Work with a core group of people on a daily basis to achieve common goals. Guest Experience: Provide excellent guest experience, as defined and trained by Family Tree Nursery core values and mission.Execution: Perform tasks as assigned by leadership.Additional Expectations: Be on time, present, and prepared for each shift.Execute daily work lists as assigned.Answer phones.Restock product.Clean floors, empty trash cans, and maintain cleanliness standards as directed by leaders.Price product as assigned.Carry out product for guests.Operate point of sale system (POS). -Care for plant material as directed.Perform additional duties as assigned by store leadership.
