You will learn about the automotive and industrial lubrication field and quickly become familiar with customer needs. Greet customers and provide friendly, professional, and timely service at the counter and over the phone.Determine customer needs by asking appropriate questions and accurately identifying required products.Look up automotive products using catalogs, computer systems, diagrams, and other available resources.Provide customers with accurate information regarding pricing, availability, product options, and estimated arrival times.Process parts sales, invoices, returns, exchanges, credits, and special orders accurately.Communicate with customers regarding backorders, special orders, substitutions, and order status.Build strong customer relationships and provide solutions that encourage repeat business.Recommend appropriate related or additional products when beneficial to the customer.Monitor stock levels and communicate recurring shortages or inventory needs to management.Maintain an organized, clean, and professional counter.Follow company procedures related to pricing, discounts, returns, warranties, inventory, and cash handling.Research and resolve customer concerns, order discrepancies, and products related issues.Develop and maintain strong knowledge of company products and applicable systems.Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure customers receive excellent service.Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous parts counter, automotive, industrial, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to learn and identify a wide variety of parts and products.Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, inventory software, and electronic product catalogs.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Basic math skills and ability to accurately process transactions.Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.Dependable attendance and a positive, professional attitude.PIa14bc4f36bd5-0242
