This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed survey professional to play a key role in supporting land development and right-of-way projects throughout the region while collaborating with engineers, planners, survey crews, and public agencies. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality survey services. This position offers the opportunity to lead survey operations, coordinate field and office activities, and contribute to a diverse range of residential, commercial, and public-sector projects. What You'll DoAs a Senior Surveyor, you will support a variety of survey and land development projects while serving as a key resource for both field and office staff.Responsibilities include:Perform and oversee topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, as-built, and construction layout surveysPrepare plats, easements, legal descriptions, and metes and bounds descriptionsSupport land development and right-of-way projects throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate daily activities of survey crews and ensure field and office needs are metWork closely with engineers, project teams, clients, and regulatory agenciesCommunicate effectively with local and municipal authorities regarding project requirements and approvalsEnsure survey deliverables meet applicable professional standards and client expectationsProvide technical expertise and support to the Director of Surveys and project teams What You'll BringRegistered Land Surveyor in the State of Maryland10+ years of progressive experience in surveying and land development projectsExperience supporting residential and commercial development projectsStrong knowledge of public agency codes, procedures, and surveying standardsProficiency with AutoCAD; MicroStation experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to coordinate multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with project teamsMontgomery County experience preferredAssociate's Degree preferred Why Join Soltesz?At Soltesz, we believe great projects begin with great people.
