ESCO Group is dedicated to empowering the polyurethane industry with precision and expertise by listening, understanding, and developing innovative product and equipment solutions.Position Summary Performs as a panel buillder maintaining, testing, and repairing industrial equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. This position does not require travel. This position is a union position and is eligible for a retention bonus paid after completion of 60 working days and 12 months of service. Essential FunctionsResponsible for wiring panels, installing, wiring, inspecting, and testing electrical components and systems.Builds and dismantles electrical machinery.Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems, troubleshoots if necessary.Mounts motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications.Runs cables, wires to engineering specifications.Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes.Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the department and business operations.
Requirements:
5+ years of work experience in manufacturingHS Diploma or GED equivalentVocational/Technical training in electrical procedures preferredJourneyman Electrician preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu ofMust have own hand toolsMust be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Understands and follows NFPA 70 (National Electric Code)Manufacturing experience Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamSafety Sensitive Role: Yes The company designates certain roles as Safety Sensitive.
