No ICU Coverage Flexible Schedule Partnership Opportunity
Pulmonologists, P.C. is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonologist to join our established, physician-owned pulmonary and sleep medicine practice in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
As one of the largest pulmonary practices in Montgomery County, our group offers strong existing patient demand, a highly flexible schedule, and an excellent quality of life. The incoming physician will join an experienced team of pulmonologists and APPs providing comprehensive pulmonary care.
Position Highlights
- Approximately 80% outpatient pulmonary medicine / 20% inpatient consults
- Flexible full-time or part-time schedule; 3-, 4-, or 5-day workweek options available
- Inpatient consults can be structured flexibly around the physicians clinic scheduletypically in half-day blocks, 12 times per week, depending on physician preference
- Broad pulmonary scope including asthma, COPD, chronic cough, ILD, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, sarcoidosis, and other complex pulmonary conditions
- No ICU coverage, with flexibility to pursue outside critical care moonlighting if desired
- 1:4 weekend call rotation with manageable inpatient census
- On-site pulmonary diagnostics including chest X-ray, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas analysis, plus an established sleep center offering diagnostic and CPAP titration studies
- Opportunity to incorporate Sleep Medicine and/or help develop advanced bronchoscopy services, including EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy

Qualifications
- BC/BE in Pulmonary Disease
- Active Maryland license and DEA (or eligibility to obtain)
- Sleep Medicine training or board certification is a plus, but not required
