Procedural/Breast Radiologist Locums Job in California Dates of Coverage: Starting as soon as November 2, for long-term coverage support. Candidates do not necessarily need to perform every procedure listed, so we encourage radiologists with strong procedural experience to inquire.
Details of Assignment: Onsite Procedural Radiology and Breast Imaging coverage
Primary procedural needs include:
? Diagnostic mammography and breast ultrasound, approximately 4 diagnostic mammography slots per day
? Breast biopsies, approximately 1 2 per day
? CT-guided biopsies, approximately 1 scheduled per day plus an average of 2 additional inpatient procedures per week
? Thoracentesis and paracentesis, approximately 2 procedures per day
? Fluoroscopic examinations and procedures
Additional lower-volume procedures may include:
? Thyroid biopsies: approximately 1 2 per week
? Breast sentinel lymph node localization: approximately 1 2 per week
? Lumbar punctures: approximately 1 2 per month
? Nephrostomy tube placements: approximately 1 2 per month
? Abscess drainages: approximately 1 2 per month
? CT-guided chest tube placements: approximately 1 2 per month
Combination of scheduled outpatient procedures and inpatient procedural needs
Requirements: Active California medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
Current MQSA qualification
California Radiology Supervisor and Operator Certificate
Recent case logs supporting requested procedural privileges
