What You ll Do
- Provide expert pediatric critical care support in a hospital-based Pediatric ICU
- Manage a patient population aged 0-18 years with 7-15 patients per day
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners during day/evening shifts
- Support patient rounds and provide ongoing critical care treatments
- Maintain documentation using Cerner EMR system
- Follow protocols for pediatric critical care, including coding practices as needed
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state licensing requirements
What You Need
- Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
- Valid AZ medical license or eligible under IMLC LOQ
- Minimum 5 years PICU experience
- BLS and PALS certifications
- DEA registration
