What You ll Do
- Perform routine laboratory procedures using analyzers, spectrophotometers, and other equipment
- Maintain quality control by running standards and controls, troubleshooting instrument malfunctions
- Analyze blood, plasma, and platelets for transfusions, including blood typing and compatibility testing
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory analyzers and other equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions
- Prepare detailed reports of laboratory findings for healthcare providers
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents
- Follow safety and quality standards to ensure accurate and timely test results
What You Need
Required: - Valid Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technologist license
- Solid knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment calibration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Preferred: - Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Familiarity with blood banking procedures
