Responsibilities - Lead, recruit, supervise, and evaluate physicians and advanced practitioners.
- Oversee quality improvement initiatives, chart reviews, provider productivity, and clinical protocols.
- Direct Medical Board activities and related committees.
- Partner with behavioral health, nutrition, dental, and other clinical service lines to ensure integrated care.
- Build relationships with local hospitals and referral partners to support continuity of care.
- Provide oversight of laboratory and radiology services.
- Participate in budgeting, operational planning, and clinical program development.
- Attend board meetings, community meetings, and organizational leadership meetings.
- Maintain direct patient care responsibilities as administrative duties allow.
Requirements - MD or DO degree.
- Active New York medical license or ability to obtain.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical and administrative leadership experience in an ambulatory care setting.
- Strong experience leading physicians and clinical teams.
- Comfortable balancing clinical practice with operational leadership responsibilities.
Preferred Background - FQHC or community health center leadership experience.
- Multi-site ambulatory care experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience with quality, compliance, provider performance management, and population health initiatives.
