Clinical Role
- Emergency Medicine locums coverage with ongoing availability preferred
- Approximately 6-8 shifts per month
- Multiple providers may be accepted
- New graduates welcome
- Approximately 20,000 annual ED visits
- Emergency Medicine provider responds to codes
- Hospitalists handle admissions
November Coverage Needs
- November 3-4: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm
- November 8-10: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm
- November 11: 6:00 am-6:00 pm
- November 14-17: 11:00 am-11:00 pm
- November 22: 11:00 am-11:00 pm
- November 23: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm
- November 24-26: 6:00 am-6:00 pm, 6:00 pm-6:00 am, and/or 11:00 am-11:00 pm
- November 29: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm
- November 30: 6:00 am-6:00 pm
Schedule & Coverage
- Day, evening, and night coverage
- Night shifts will likely be consecutive or scheduled in blocks
- Physician may also cover APC shifts:
- 9:00 am-9:00 pm
- 11:00 am-11:00 pm
Support & Systems
- Allscripts EMR
- Hospitalist support for admissions
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- ABEM strongly preferred
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required
