Position Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based pain management strategies.
- Perform a broad range of interventional pain procedures in outpatient and procedural settings.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Coordinate care plans and specialty referrals when appropriate.
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record and advanced AI-assisted clinical documentation tools.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations regarding patient safety and controlled substance management.
Qualifications Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
- Fellowship training through Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, or another qualifying specialty
- Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain within days)
- Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Preferred
- Experience performing interventional pain procedures
- Interest in building a long-term outpatient pain management practice
- Collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care
- Experience utilizing EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Compensation: $435,000 $580,000 , based on experience, productivity, and MGMA benchmarks
