Job Summary
- Material Handling company is hiring an Assistant Project Manager who will support all phases of our busy business.
- The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with all daily tasks and duties. Some of these items are listed below.
- The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities include:
- Work directly with project manager to help implement specific project goals
- Assist with project estimates as well as business development with future clients
- Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing projects
- Process submittals, request for information, shop drawings, and closeout documents
- Liaise between our suppliers and fabricator to ensure production schedules are met
- Weekly coordination with our installation crews to ensure project success and safety
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone to join our team that possesses the following attributes:
- 2 years of Office Administration is preferred
- 1 year of Construction office experience is preferred
- Construction knowledge is a plus but is not required
- Strong problem solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated, flexible and eager to learn
- Organized and can maintain organization when multi-tasking
- Comfortable within the Microsoft Office environment of Word and Excel
