Traveling Electrical Foreman - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
$50/hour + $150/day per diem
Finish Line Staffing is seeking experienced Traveling Electrical Foremen for a fast-paced, mission-critical data center project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Position Details
- Pay: $50 per hour
- Per diem: $150 per day
- Schedule: Day shift, 60+ hours per week
- Duration: 3+ months
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew of 8-10 electricians.
- Plan daily work, assign tasks, and keep crews on schedule.
- Use an iPad to access and review plans, blueprints, and electrical drawings.
- Complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and enforce site safety requirements.
- Coordinate and order materials to maintain workflow.
- Monitor workmanship and communicate progress, material needs, and field issues to site leadership.
Requirements
- Previous electrical foreman experience on at least 2-3 projects.
- Strong background in large-scale commercial electrical construction; data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and use an iPad for field documentation.
- Proven ability to lead crews and organize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and work 60+ hours per week.
