Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications
- Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Perform diagnostic testing and patient evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current state licensure or eligibility required
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Prior hospital or acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
