Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) to handle moderate-to-high complexity testing. This is an ideal role for a professional who enjoys working independently in a close-knit environment where your results directly impact clinical decisions in real-time.
Key Responsibilities - Comprehensive Testing: Perform and analyze tests across all major disciplines, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, and Urinalysis.
- Technical Oversight: Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot sophisticated lab instrumentation while ensuring strict adherence to quality control and regulatory standards.
- Clinical Collaboration: Communicate critical values directly to providers and nursing staff to ensure rapid patient intervention.
- Specimen Management: Handle specimen collection (including phlebotomy), labeling, and processing with high attention to detail.
Requirements - Education: Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Certification: Active MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent national certification is required.
- Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: 1 2 years of clinical lab experience is preferred; phlebotomy skills are a significant plus.
