Position Overview
The MT/MLS or MLT will work as a generalist across multiple areas of the clinical laboratory, including:
- Chemistry
- Hematology
- Urinalysis
- Microbiology
- Blood Bank
Responsibilities include performing accurate and timely laboratory testing, maintaining quality-control standards, operating laboratory instrumentation, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support excellent patient care.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Associate degree or Bachelor s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related qualifying field
- Current Hawaii license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, or eligibility to obtain the applicable license
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Ability and willingness to work as a generalist across all major laboratory departments
