In this role the Cytotechnologist will perform the following job duties:

• Upon supervision, microscopically evaluates all types of cytology specimens submitted to the cytopathology laboratory.
• Screen cytologic material and recognizes abnormalities identified and renders an interpretation diagnoses using the laboratory information system; appropriate cases are sent to the Cytopathologists for final interpretation consideration.
• Assist Rapid-On Site Evaluations in multiple services including Bronchoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and surgical clinics.
• Perform appropriate record-keeping procedures and fulfills some of the duties of the cytopathology supervisor during that supervisor's absence.
• On rare occasions, prepares cytologic specimens for evaluation using established procedures.

• Shift Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Days of Week: Monday-Friday
