Seekinga Per Diem General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or PhysicianAssistant to join our healthcare team in Redlands, California. Thisposition offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Advanced Practice Provider(APP) with experience in surgical care to work closely with our surgeons in acollaborative, patient-centered environment. The role provides a flexible40-hour workweek, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while making ameaningful impact on patient outcomes.
The General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will providecomprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care forgeneral surgery patients in close collaboration with the surgical team.Documentation of patient care activities will be required in the electronichealth record, in compliance with hospital and SAMGI standards.
Theprovider will work at the hospital's clinic located conveniently across thestreet, ensuring continuity of care for surgical patients in an outpatientsetting. Patient and family education will be an essential part of the role,ensuring that patients fully understand their care plans, leading to highlevels of patient satisfaction.
Theposition will involve managing approximately 34,331 visits per year and around414 acute care surgical consults and admissions annually.

Qualifications:
