Facility Transportation DriverThe Facility Transportation Driver is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, materials, or passengers within a transportation system. This includes ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of shipments or transportation services. Especially Kidz is a skilled pediatric nursing facility located in Shelbyville, Indiana. Especially Kidz is seeking a Facility Transportation Driver to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents.
About the Role:
- Maintain preventive vehicle maintenance
- Complete all appropriate paperwork on a timely basis
- Keep open communications with Social Service regarding scheduled appointments and scheduled changes.
- Maintain residence safety according to company policy during transport.
- Communicate any medical information obtained during resident's appointment to Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and/or charge nurse.
- Complete other necessary duties as assigned as time allows
About You:
- High School Diploma.
- Must possess a valid driver license.
- Must have an excellent driving record.
- Experience preferred with driving large vehicles, such as vans or small busses.
- Knowledge of laws regarding passenger safety.
- CNA highly preferred
