Fabricator (2nd Shift)

Operates machines and presses for the purpose of fabricating various components.

• Performing burning, grinding, shearing, sawing, turning and press brake operations to produce a quality product.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing Total Quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and KanBan cards and other media as required. Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work area clean and free of hazards.
• Exercise safe work habits.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior machine / press experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred

• Mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated ability to work in a production environment.
• Ability to follow operation procedures and assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems.
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.
• Must pass drug screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.

• Constant standing, walking, balancing, twisting and using lower extremities.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and strongly grasping.
• Occasional lightly grasping and pinching.
• Minimal squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Ability to lift/push/carry objects up to 100 lbs. occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently, and/or 20 lbs. constantly.

• Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
