Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and senior patients
- Manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, CHF, and other common primary care concerns
- Emphasize preventive medicine, wellness, and long-term care planning
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to improve outcomes and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
- Build meaningful relationships with patients in a supportive, team-based clinical environment
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Active or eligible Virginia medical license
- Strong interest in outpatient primary care and value-based medicine
- Comfortable caring for adult and senior patients
- Excellent communication and bedside manner
