Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology/Oncology
Job Details:
- Ambulatory Hematology/Oncology clinic providing follow-up and new patient visits, writing orders and prescriptions, and communicating with pharmacy
- Focus on benign hematology with a general oncology role; 60-65% hematology with mild fluctuations from month to month
- Bread and butter Hematology/Oncology caseload
- Minimum of 15 hematology patients per day
- Support staff includes nurses, navigator, admin support, pharmacy, 1-2 physicians, APPs, and an infusion specialist
- EMR: EPIC
- Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology required; double boarded preferred; if seeing oncology patients, must be board certified in Oncology
- Active North Carolina state license required
- DEA required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience required
- Travel, rental car, and lodging provided
