Family Medicine opening in DeForest/Madison, WisconsinDetails:
- Average of 17-20 patients per day; no nights or weekends (Extended clinic hours 7AM-5:30PM)
- 1.0 FTE = 36 Patient contact hours per week + administrative time
- Shared call amongst the providers; Phone call only - triaged through MyNurse line.
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- General procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, etc.
- Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
- Established team of 3 physicians and 1 Advanced Practitioner
- Established practice serving the Deforest-Windsor community

- 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult inpatients
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Qualifications:- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in FM
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Wisconsin
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
