Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Location: Joplin, MO

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

I am seeking a Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage on a locum basis. This role includes procedural work, clinic visits, and call coverage, with flexibility for weekend rotations.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
• Perform procedures including:
  • Left and right heart catheterizations (LHC/RHC)
  • Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
  • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Participate in general and STEMI call coverage
• Respond to night calls (1 2 nights during 2-week rotation)
• Collaborate with a team of 5 physicians and clinic support staff

• MD or DO
• Active Missouri license or IMLC
• Board Eligible
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Clinic: patients/day
• Procedures: 5 7 per day

• Open bill rate please submit competitive bids
• Weekend coverage: 4 5 days over a weekend period, 2 weeks/month

• EMR System: Epic
• On-call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Privileging: Emergency temps available; full credentialing takes 90 days
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (exemptions may be considered)
