Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key player in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial solar systems, ensuring all projects meet safety standards and customer expectations. You will work with a skilled, supportive team in a fast-growing industry with opportunities for growth and continuing education.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar panel systems according to Cedar Creek Energy standards and NEC codes.
- Manage electrical connections between solar arrays and the grid.
- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Install electrical equipment, including conduits, disconnects, and panels.
- Conduct quality control checks and system testing.
- Work independently or collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
Qualifications
- Current Journeyman or Master Electrician License, or willingness to test for Journeyman.
- Minimum 1 year of electrical experience, preferably including commercial projects.
- Ability to work on rooftops and in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift 60+ pounds consistently.
- Proficient with power tools, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
- Valid MN driver's license with a clean DMV record.
- Experience in the solar industry is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to pass driving, drug, and criminal background checks.
Compensation and Benefits
