Low Voltage Technician

Job Overview
- Voice/Data/Fiber Optic work for commercial clients-other low-voltage systems (CCTV, Card Access, A/V systems) a plus

Preferred Experience
- Commercial installation, troubleshooting and repairs of voice/data/fiber optic systems
- Knowledge and familiarity with local installation codes
Job Skills and Requirements
- Installation, termination, troubleshooting and repair of cables, jacks, patch panels, etc.
- Color vision to identify color coded wiring
- Must be able to communicate effectively and appropriately in English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to move freely and safely up and down ladders or stairs
- Must be able to kneel and bend freely
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as terminating wires
- Must possess a positive attitude and be able to interact with co-workers, customers, and other trade professionals
- Must be able to read architectural drawings
- Must be able to accommodate occasional shift changes and OT work
- OSHA 10 Construction or OSHA 30 card is required
- Current NV driver's license is required
Qualifications that would be considered advantageous
- Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and conduit in the construction industry, Telephony/ Data circuit extensions, and Network equipment installation
