About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead culinary operations for a new luxury residential community in Miami. This is an exciting opening opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who understands the elevated expectations of luxury hospitality and takes pride in delivering exceptional food, consistent execution, and personalized service.
The concept is centered around a refined residential dining experience, where culinary quality, hospitality, consistency, and attention to detail are essential. The Chef de Cuisine will play a key role in establishing kitchen standards, developing the BOH team, supporting opening readiness, and creating a polished dining experience for residents.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef coming from luxury residential, private club, upscale hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant environments who is ready to take ownership of a culinary operation.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or similar culinary leadership role
- Background in luxury residential, private clubs, upscale hotels, resorts, or comparable high-end hospitality environments
- Strong experience leading, training, and developing BOH teams
- Proven ability to maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and service
- Strong knowledge of recipe adherence, kitchen organization, prep systems, and daily culinary execution
- Experience managing food cost, inventory, ordering, waste control, and kitchen budgets
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health-code requirements
- Professional communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with FOH leadership and property management
- Polished, dependable, and highly organized approach appropriate for a luxury hospitality environment
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily culinary operations and ensure consistently high standards of food quality and execution
- Oversee preparation, presentation, recipes, and service standards
- Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop BOH team members
- Manage ordering, inventory, food cost, portion control, and waste reduction
- Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, sanitation, and food-safety compliance
- Partner closely with FOH leadership to deliver seamless and personalized dining experiences
- Support the development and implementation of culinary SOPs and operational standards
- Build a positive, professional, and accountable kitchen culture
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, property leadership, and hospitality teams
- Support menu rollouts, culinary training, opening preparation, and ongoing operational readiness
- Serve as a key culinary leader during the launch and continued development of the property
