Join a dynamic outpatient clinic integrated with an infusion center in Seaside, OR, as a Hematology Oncology physician. Enjoy working within a dedicated and experienced team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and a comprehensive supporting staff including social work and an oncology nurse navigator. This newly remodeled facility offers a patient-centered approach with a mix of clinical and infusion services. Flexible scheduling options are available for the right candidate.

  • Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • Patient Population: Adult
  • Location: Seaside, OR
  • Stipends: Long-term lodging options up to $2,500 per month for non-local candidates can be discussed

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care in the outpatient clinic for adult patients.
  • Collaborate with an experienced team including social work and dietitian services.
  • Participate in and lead clinical services at the newly remodeled facility.
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute to maintaining high staff satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Active medical license in good standing.
  • Board Certification in Hematology Oncology required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Preferred experience in bone marrow biopsies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Hours

  • Expected to work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday.
  • Flexible start and end times: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
  • 3-4 shifts per week, 4 weeks a month.
  • Guaranteed 9 hours work per day with OT applicable after 10 hours.

Skills

  • Proficiency in patient care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Ability to perform minor procedures like bone marrow biopsies.
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with both patients and team members.
