JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Licenses: Active VA License, Active DEA with VA address
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ACLS
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of current clinical experience
  • Other Qualifications: Case logs and CME documentation for past 2 years required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive hospitalist medicine services including admissions, discharges, and daily rounding.
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in an inpatient setting.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services.
  • Perform procedures as delineated on the Delineation of Privileges form.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely in Cerner EMR.
