Opportunity:
Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
- Coverage schedule: 7 on / 7 off (2 weeks per month) with 12-hour shifts approximately 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- No call required
- Work within a full emergency department alongside MDs, NPs, and PAs
- Patient volume consists of 85% adults, 10% pediatrics, and 5% trauma cases
- Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Level 1 trauma center with full emergency medicine equipment available
- EMR system: Epic (providers with experience may test out; virtual training available for those without)
- Emergency Medicine board certification required
- Active South Carolina state license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- DEA required
- Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience required
- Clean malpractice history required
