Associate Dentist Fort Drum, New York
ICON Medical Network is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist for a temp-to-permanent opportunity in Fort Drum, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys comprehensive general dentistry and is interested in joining a smaller, team-oriented practice.
Position Details
- Location: Fort Drum, New York
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Providers are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for the morning team huddle.
- Practice Size: Four-chair dental office
- Position Type: Temp-to-permanent
- Potential locum tenens coverage may be available beginning in November if a permanent provider has not been secured.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide bread-and-butter general dentistry
- Perform comprehensive exams and develop treatment plans
- Deliver restorative and preventive dental care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure an efficient daily workflow
- Root canal therapy and extractions are highly preferred but not required
- Providers with a broad clinical skill set are strongly encouraged to apply
Ideal Candidate
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
- Active New York dental license or ability to obtain one
- Comfortable practicing in a four-chair office
- Confident providing general and restorative dentistry
- Root canal and extraction experience is a plus
- Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Interested in transitioning into a permanent position
