Assignment Details:

- Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Only

- December 27-29, 2024
- January 4-5, 2025
- February 28, March 1-2, 2025
- Practice Setting: Inpatient only (no outpatient duties required)
- Location: Near Fort Bragg, North Carolina
Practice Highlights:
- Patients Per Shift: Varies based on patient needs
- On-Call Responsibilities:
- Available for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
- Handle emergent gynecologic procedures as needed
- Additional Support:
- No supervision of residents or advanced practice providers required
- Facility does not require hospital or surgery center privileges
Skills and Certifications Required:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active NC medical license, NC DEA with NC address, and NC Medicaid credential
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS
- Skilled in:
- Routine and complex deliveries, including VBAC, breech, multiple births
- Surgical gynecology (minor and major procedures)
- Obstetric ultrasound interpretation (Level I and Level II)
- Advanced OB/GYN procedures including amniocentesis, forceps, and cesarean delivery
Additional Requirements:
- Providers must have an active Medicare PECOS enrollment
- No recent or open malpractice cases
- Must be credentialed with Medicare and able to submit recent case logs (last 24 months)
- Prefer providers within driving distance or with capped travel expenses
Credentialing & Support:
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 10 days
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): MediTech 6.1
- Travel: Reimbursement available (travel costs, including mileage, rental car, and airfare)
- Lodging: Hospital-recommended accommodations provided
