Position Overview:
- Position Type: Locum Tenens, Physician - Neurology
- Location: Near Rocky Ford, Colorado
- Shift Type: 24-hour on-call coverage
- Duration: Open for submissions, start and end dates flexible based on provider availability
- On Call: Yes, including weekend requirements
- Weekend Coverage: Required as part of the 24-hour on-call rotation
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary inpatient neurology coverage with a focus on adult patient care
- Be available for 24-hour call coverage during assigned weekdays and weekends
- Work collaboratively with a team, including other neurologists who will be present on-site
- Perform EEG procedures as needed, in a facility equipped with on-site lab and X-ray services
- Maintain high standards of care, supporting the hospitals goal of improving patient outcomes and reducing readmissions
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Neurology: Required
- Licensing: Active Colorado medical license or an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license required
- Experience: Previous inpatient neurology experience preferred
