Pediatric Hospitalist We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: - Perform inpatient medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for pediatric patients hospitalized for various conditions.
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide emergency response and stabilization for acutely ill children.
- Lead family-centered communication, providing clear explanations regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
- Document all patient encounters accurately in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical protocols and best practices.
Qualifications: - Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of California.
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric inpatient care; prior hospitalist experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient and family engagement.
