Med Ninjas is seeking a Critical Care Pediatric Physician for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility located in Flagstaff, Arizona
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from 10/26/2026 to 11/1/2026
This assignment includes inpatient Pediatric ICU coverage, 24-hour call with morning rounds, pediatric critical care, and on call weekend.
Locum Tenens Physician Critical Care Pediatric Flagstaff Medical Center
Shift: 24-hour call; rounds in the morning
Start Date: 10/26/2026
End Date: 11/1/2026
Position Details: Ongoing coverage; minimum 1 week of coverage per month; 7-15 patients per day; 24-hour call
Patient Population: Pediatric patients ages 0-18; PICU and pediatrics
Setting: Inpatient Pediatric ICU / Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Pediatric critical care; morning rounds; management of PICU and pediatric patients
Required Procedures: Coding
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: NPs available onsite during the day and evening
Days Per Month: Minimum 1 week per month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call
Required Procedures and Skills
- Pediatric Critical Care / PICU
- Coding
- Cerner
- 5 years of PICU experience
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Arizona license required or IMLC LOQ
- DEA required
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Minimum 5 years of PICU experience
